Mountain View Medical Group is pleased to announce it will award two scholarships of $1000 each in the 2008/2009 school year as part of its Physician Memorial Scholarship Fund. These scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors interested in a medically related field of study.
This is the 2nd year of an annual scholarship in honor of the dedication and professionalism of physicians from our group who are deceased. The scholarship currently honors Dr. Timothy Hoke (Family Practice), Dr. Herbert Thomson (Pediatrics), and Dr. Kenneth Rafal (Pediatrics).
Application Criteria:
- High school senior in the Pike’s Peak region graduating in spring 2009
- Student planning to enter a medically related field of study
- GPA of 2.75 or higher (on a standard 4.0 scale)
