All my life I had a passion for health care. I have provided care in some aspect of health for more than twenty years. As a nurse, I have worked in all areas, from administration to the bedside with a special interest in children and adult health. When I decided to complete my Advanced Practice Degree, I knew that family health would be ideal for me. I enjoy combining the aspects of nurturing (the art of nursing) and medicine, to ensure that the patients receive a plan of care that is empowering, and the patient understand that teamwork is the only way to effectively deliver patient centered care.

I enjoy spending time with my family (husband and four children), reading, and many different types of arts and crafts.
