I received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Michigan State University. My husband is also a doctor, and we moved to Colorado Springs in 1986 because we love the mountains and the great outdoors. We have three daughters. I'm a family practitioner, with a special interest in women’s health and counseling patients in dietary and lifestyle changes to prevent diseases such as diabetes. My nutrition degree has been very useful in the treatment of obesity, a major health issue in America. I use a holistic approach, and I'm trained in the use of manual medicine to treat musculoskeletal disorders.
