I grew up in rural Iowa and have never completely lost my agricultural roots, which is one reason why I try to bring a holistic approach to my practice of pediatric medicine. Children are much more than the sum of their parts, and I enjoy getting know each of my patients and their families with each visit. While I have a special interest in Cystic Fibrosis, ADD and child development, probably nothing gives me greater pleasure than simply talking to parents and my patients about their lives and watching these children interact and grow.
