My first career after college was in research and I worked in both the academic setting and private sector in the areas of immunology and cell biology. However, from an early age I've been interested in child development and the emotional growth of children and I became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2003. I find joy and satisfaction in partnering with families to foster overall health and growth for children and adolescents. I'm from the Midwest and also lived on the East Coast for about 10 years. My family has been here for five years and we love Colorado! My husband, son, and I enjoy hiking in the wonderful mountains and searching for interesting birds, plants, and bugs.
